PART 2 – Tell Us Your Current Ethical Framework –
Here are some of the ethical frameworks (theories) that we will discuss this semester:
Divine Command – Do what God says
Consequentialism –
Egoism – Do what is in my self-interest
Utilitarianism – Do what brings happiness for the greatest number of people
Deontological Ethics – Do your duty, derived from logic and rationality
Relativism – There are no permanent ethical rules, it is relevant to your culture or society

Pick ONE (only ONE) theory that usually guides your life and answer the following:
Why do you like this theory / why does it work for you? Can you think of any problems that may arise from it?
Write like you want us to understand your decision – think about your reasons for selecting this theory and communicate them. This is not a one-sentence answer.
