the whole thing is written already. Just need someone to edit based on the professors citique and guidelines
its 18 pages right now including references and i am hoping it will be a little shorter when the person is done editing it
1. I am noticing some use of past tense in these sections – like you’ve already done the research. WHY? This is a proposal to do FUTURE research, as I have stated many, many times, and is echoed throughout the course and in all the course materials. You are NOT collecting data this semester. You are NOT allowed to! If you have done so without ethical review, that is a very big problem and will necessitate a meeting with me. It is not ethical to do a study without an ethical review!
2. You are also NOT allowed to make up data and write about it. Where is that instruction?? It is not from us at Mercy! If you made up data to analyze, REMOVE IT. This is a proposal to do future research, not a make believe exercise in doing a study.
3. As I’ve said throughout, with these sections, make sure you’re clear what your methodology is. If it’s qualitative, then describe your qualitative methods. You should not be talking about quantitative research methods if you are doing a qualtitative study. And vice versa!
